LEICA 24x36 contest

Partecipo ad un interessante contest indetto da LEICA per scoprire i nuovi talenti della fotografia italiana. Ci tengo a precisare che non ho molte ambizioni a riguardo e riconosco che in giro ci sono fotografi molto più in gamba di me. Tuttavia ho o accettato la sfida e mi sono messo in gioco pubblicando alcune mie foto per farmi votare dal pubblico. Si può votare soltanto attraverso Facebook, ma si potrà usare anche Twitter per promuoversi e raggiungere il maggior numero possibile di utenti della rete.

nuova Alfa MITO

Ecco alcuni still frames e di seguito un filmatino a bassa risoluzione dello spot della nuova Alfa MITO grazie alla quale mi sono per così dire un po' "scaricato".
Per l'occasione ho infatti realizzato tutte o quasi le scariche elettriche,gli archi elettrici ed in generale gli effetti di luce e scintille che alimentano lo spot e sottolineano l'energia che si sprigiona ancora una volta dai piatti del noto dj Bob Sinclar.
Alla regia il pluripremiato Alessandro Pacciani,giovane talento italiano che vive nel paese del sol levante....produzione Filmmaster.

I The Blass ovvero Fabio e Diego ,ottimi videomakers e animatori( www.alienatio.it) hanno inoltre curato montaggio e musiche.
Il video sarà inoltre visibile all'interno del padiglione della Biennale regionale-Lombardia in quel di Mantova.

E' on air il nuovo spot Sky + Fastweb che pubblicizza il pacchetto chiamato Home pack.
Testimonial d'eccezione è Fabio Caressa ,cronista sportivo di punta di Sky, che per l'occasione si trova ad interagire con i 3 moschettieri realizzati in cgi ed inseriti poi nelle scene live action.

In December 2010 i've changed company...now i work in toboga.
This is the first important commercial where i worked on.I made the Fastweb logo animation and composited it into the final shot
(here some still frames taken from the first subject"Airport").

Zombies return

These days in Italy on Fox channel has started the zombie saga "The Walking Dead" from the successful American comic book series published by Image Comics beginning in 2003. The comic was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore, who was replaced by Charlie Adlard.
The story chronicles the travels of a group of people trying to survive in a world stricken by a zombie apocalypse. The series won the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series at the San Diego Comic Convention.
So zombies continue to walk...and in Pesaro walking too because Claudio Tacchi has directed the second episode of his personal zombie trip "L'estate Fredda 2".

Twisted Path

After a long post production time the psychological thriller Twisted Path, shot between Italy and California by filmmaker Federico Rivia, is finally completed. Federico was born in Italy and moved to Hollywood to work as Visual Effects Artist for blockbuster movies like Spider-Man 1 and 2, Mission Impossible 2, 2012 etc. Federico and I met over ten years ago. We worked together for a couple of years at Ubik Visual Effects, high-end post-production house based in Milan, and remained friends since then.Twisted Path is Federico's first feature film. I was lucky to watch it and I must say I really enjoyed it. I definitively look forward to see Federico's next movie.The movie is currently available on Amazon in Blu-ray format. Hopefully will be available in Italy soon.

It's finally released the book Manga Don't Like Wine. The book features the artworks of many artists, collaborating on the creation of very weird creatures, playing with the surrealistic method: the Exquisite Corpse drawing. "Collaborating may not be the right word, in fact, 'Manga Don't Like Wine' is about individuals creating something beyond anyone's control.

I've partecipated at this whystyle weird project with Mauro and Gabriele...a lot of stress for they...but at the end our artwork was selected and published inside this book.

The book is 18X24 cm big, with soft cover and 85 pages in black and white.
